Alec Lopata is Senior Policy Associate at the U.S. Impact Investing Alliance. In this role, he contributes to all aspects of the Alliance’s policy work, including research, strategy, stakeholder engagement and policymaker outreach. He joins from Forefront, where he served as a lobbyist on behalf of the Illinois nonprofit and philanthropic sector at the state and federal levels. He has also worked at Freedman Consulting and on Governor JB Pritzker’s Budget and Economy Team. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a BA in Government with a Public Policy Sequence.
